Nessie Nods Farewell
After 12 days in Scotland I take off from Edinburgh this morning. My head & my body are ready to go home. But not my heart. I look out the aircraft window and there is Nessie nodding goodbye. Can you see his head? If not, you’ve not the heart of a true Scot. Sairy (sorry).
Who’s Nessie, you ask? The Loch Ness monster, of course. He’s lived in Loch Ness since forever and only specially selected people catch sight of him. Like me this morning. Here’s a story about him I picked up for my granddaughter. Perhaps seeing this picture will help you pick him out in the clouds.
Not only has Nessie lost his glasses, he’s been monkeying with my iPhone & Mac. My photos are not transferring. There is water everywhere here whether locks (lakes) or small creeks (burns) and the water horses (water spirits) are active. I’m blaming them for not posting my blog posts as planned. You’ll have to wait for Angus cattle tails & other tales.
Ala Rainbows
Rainbows appear as waves of sprinkles waft through the sunlight.
And GREEN … Texas will never see green like the green here. Kinda like the Emerald Isle (Ireland). And that’s just the moss. And Rob, Honor, & Nan began their castle visits.
