What voices influence your choices?
In THE CHOICE Series, master storyteller Nan Rinella introduces you to five friends: Lily (a stunning up-and-coming fashion designer), Phila (a brilliant Oxford student, who fantasizes about finding Prince Charming) and the three young WWII veterans who cherish them.
Ollie, a tall, red-haired Scottish hero, battles the demons of Guilt and Self-Pity as he interacts with Phila. Although Hugh, her handsome genius brother, still longs for national glory, perhaps he yearns more for Lily. And, Dan, an American humanist interloper, also wants to win Lily’s heart. Friendship develops among the five amidst the challenges of such inner voices as Pride, Shame, and Doubt in opposition with Humility, Honor, and Trust.
Influenced by C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien, Rinella weaves their wisdom and wit into the series as Oxford mentors and with interactions at the Eagle and Child pub. As all these characters engage your mind and delight your heart, they’ll become your friends, too.
